Exotic Erotics Elephant Trunk Small

I was contacted by the lovely people over at Exotic-Erotics about reviewing one of their products and I was very excited to do so. If you have not checked out their webstore yet, I highly recommend you do so. They have an amazing array of life-cast toys, as well as sculpted toys. You are sure to find something you like there because there is so much variety! Being new to EE toys, I selected the Elephant Trunk in size small, because the shape looked basic, yet still pleasurable, and the dimensions of the small size did not sound overwhelming. Some of the toys on the EE site are heavily textured or wild shapes, so I thought this would be the best intro into their products. I also got it in the medium firmness– I feared the soft would be too soft and the firm would be too hard– Goldilocks problems!!

Shaped like an elephant trunk, this dildo has a body-safe, harness compatible base. It narrows into the toy itself and tapers down to two very realistic elephant nostrils. The entire dildo is covered in fine lines and wrinkles, similar to the texture of leather, perfectly mimicking elephant skin. I thought this texture would probably not be noticed by my vagina, but I can actually feel the little lines. The texture is very subtle but very pleasing. It almost feels like I am being tickled internally and that is a very cool feeling.

Here is the texture up close:

The size is really good for me too. It is large enough to be pleasing without feeling like I am being stretched too much. I think the medium firmness silicone helped with that too. Anything more firm and it would have felt more imposing. The measurements are as follows:

  • 8″ long
  • 1.4″ across at the tip, 4.5″ circumference
  • 1.6″ across midshaft, 5″ circumference
  • 1.9″ across base of shaft, 6″ circumference
It also comes in at just under one pound– this is a solid hunk of silicone.

The shape is pretty basic, except for the tip. It is essentially a fun-textured, tapered dildo, which is nothing unheard of. It does not have much curve to it, which reduces the amount of g-spot or p-spot stimulation. I think this is a great thrusting dildo since it is pretty straight and the subtle texture feels really good for in and out, in and out. The tip, however, is shaped like elephant nostrils! There are two actual cavities in the end of this dildo, separated by a septum. They are the same size and my middle and pointer fingertips and I can hook my fingertips in the nostrils. Since the tip is partially hollow, it can be harder to insert because the silicone at the end kind of wants to fold over on itself. A more firm silicone would likely rectify this.

Exotic Erotics has a ton of color options for their toys, or they can even make up a color for you! I requested pink of course, just not a fleshy color of pink, and I got a light, cotton candyish color that is very pretty. If you wanted a true pachyderm experience, they have a grey color that would be very realistic. Exotic Erotics toys are very easy to take care of since they are pure silicone. I do not share my toys, so I simply wash with soap and water and leave it out to dry before I return it to the sparkly storage bag it came with. You can also boil, bleach, use alcohol, toy cleaner, or put it in the dishwasher. Because of the design of this toy, pay special attention the cleaning the crevices and extra close attention to the nostrils, making sure they get washed well.

Summary

This is a great, unintimidating dildo from Exotic Erotics. The shape of the shaft is nothing crazy (though the tip is a little crazy!), but the texture is a pleasant and tickling surprise. It is not curved enough to provide g-spot or p-spot stimulation, but the straight shape is great for thrusting.

Tantus Plunge Paddle

I’ll be honest: I wasn’t expecting much from the Tantus Plunge Paddle. Not that I don’t have full faith in Tantus and their designs; I just don’t typically have much luck with multi-use products. It seems as though when you try to make multiple components good, quality suffers. However…this paddle is pretty good all around. It is a paddle with a dildo for a handle. The handle can be used vaginally or anally, because the paddle portion keeps the dildo safely outside the body. Of course, the paddle is meant to be used outside the body for spanking and impact play.
Silicone has a certain sting to it that is not found in other materials. The silicone is matte and velvety, not glossy. I love matte silicone toys because they aren’t sticky like their glossier counterparts. It still has a small amount of drag but does not attract hair and lint as much as the sticky silicone does. The drag can be smoothed out quickly and easily with a few drops of water-based lubricant. Some higher-quality silicone lubricants might work okay, but always be sure to test a small amount in an inconspicuous area.

The handle/dildo is a little more firm than most dildos— there is no give to it whatsoever. The paddle, however, is what I can best describe as floppy. The neck is as thin as the paddle part (1/4”), which makes it very flexible and therefore makes the paddle very slap-py. This means it has hurting potential. A lot. It feels closer to an open palm than it does a paddle, but packing even more of a sting.

The dildo has a slight curve and a glorious bulbous head. It is fairly small in circumference (3 3/4”), much smaller than most other Tantus toys. I would describe this toy as small to average. Size queens will not be satisfied. If not for the bulb at the end, I would not be satisfied. HOWEVER, the head hit my g-spot just right and the extra firm silicone gave me the pressure I needed to cum. If you are using this to stimulate your g-spot, there is a ridge on what would be the underside. The ridge added stimulation for me vaginally, but also made holding it more comfortable when using that end as a handle for the paddle.

Thrusting with the dildo end is a little awkward since you have to grip the flat and thin paddle end. I tried to grip the neck part but that didn’t leave me with enough toy to thrust with. I ended up holding it with my thumb on top of the paddle and four fingers under it.

The dildo/handle has a hole in the end where you can add a string to hang it with. Pay special attention when cleaning the toy to clean this hole out because fluid can accumulate in there.

This toy can be cleaned just about any way you can think of: soap and water, toy cleaner, 10% bleach solution, boiling, or the dishwasher. In a lot of ways, this is an improvement over a leather or wooden paddle because it can be washed so easily.

The paddle dimensions are:
Total length: 13”
Paddle length: 6 1/4”
Paddle width (thickness): 1/4”
Paddle width (across): 3 1/4”
Dildo length:5 3/4”
Dildo circumference: 3 3/4”
Head circumference: 4 1/4”

I would not recommend this to paddle beginners. I would recommend it to intermediate to advanced users or those who want a versatile toy. You can pick yours up today at Tantus.
